Scholarship Information
  Available Scholarships:

-Scholarships for high achievers on the Entrance Exam
  Who is eligible to apply?
 
  All students who have a high school diploma or equivalent certificate can apply for these scholarships.
  Entrance Examination: Mathematics and English
  Entrance Examinations are normally held in the month of September. Please enquiry at the Administration Office for more information.
  Theology Department
 
  This scholarship is provided to twenty-five students enrolled under the Department of Theology, and includes tuition-free studies for four years, free accommodation, and three free meals per day for four years.
  Football  
 

Life University offers 4-year scholarships, exclusive of food and accomodation, to all University footballers.

University scholarship recipients are expected to maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0. Scholarship recipients whose GPA drops below 3.0 but is at or above 2.5 will be required to pay 50% of their tuition fee for the subsequent year, while those whose GPA is less than 2.5 will be required to pay full tuition.

  Work Scholarships  
 
Work scholarships are awarded in exchange for 10 hours of work per week, as assigned by the university. Additional duties, such as participation in committees, may also be assigned. Work scholarships are contingent upon students’ continued and satisfactory completion of their duties and responsibilities, as determined by the Scholarship Committee.  
The following, taken from the academic year 2015-2016, is representative of scholarship awards given in recent years. However, note that Life University reserves the right to make changes to its current scholarship practices.

I. National Exam Scholarship  
  1) High school students who pass the national exam with a grade of ‘A’ are given 100% scholarships for four years, plus accommodation and food. The University is able to support all qualifying students.  
  2) High school students who pass the national exam with a grade of ‘B’ are given 100% scholarships for four years, excluding accomodation and food. The University is able to support all qualifying students.  
  3) High school students who pass the national exam with a grade of ‘C’ are given 50% scholarships for one year. The University is able to support all qualifying students.  
     
II. Entrance Exam Scholarship  
  4) 20 students who pass the entrance exam with a grade of ‘A’ are given 2-year 40% scholarships.  
  5) 20 students who pass the entrance exam with a grade of ‘B’ are given 2-year 30% scholarships.  
  6) 20 students who pass the entrance exam with a grade of ‘C’ are given 2-year 20% scholarships.  
     
III. Theology Department  
  Financially needy students applying to study theology are given 4-year 100% scholarships.
